Biography
Brian D. Sullivan, D.O. is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon providing care to patients in our Snellville location. His practice includes general orthopedics with specialty training in sports medicine. In addition to knee and shoulder arthroscopy, Dr. Sullivan has a special interest in rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacements, and cartilage restoration. He is particularly interested in robotic assisted joint replacement surgery (including total and partial knee replacement) and computer navigated surgery.
Dr. Sullivan graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina and completed his medical degree at the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Sullivan completed his orthopedic training at the OhioHealth Orthopedic Residency Program which consisted of multiple hospitals including Grant Medical Center, a level one trauma center. After finishing his general orthopedic training he went on to further subspecialize in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While completing fellowship, he was a team physician for the Houston Sabercats professional rugby team.

Community Involvement
Dr. Sullivan believes in the importance of global health. While in training, he traveled to Haiti and Honduras on medical mission trips. He plans to contribute to global health throughout his career. In his spare time, Dr. Sullivan enjoys spending time outdoors in the mountains and at the beach. Some of his favorite activities include hiking, snowboarding and spending time on the water. He enjoys playing guitar and searching for the best local restaurants and coffee shops. Exercise is an important part of his daily routine. He enjoys weightlifting, running, and yoga. You will find him exploring local parks and playgrounds with his wife and son on the weekends.
