Lohith Vatti, M.D. is a board-eligible, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with OrthoAtlanta. Dr. Vatti specializes in hip and knee total joint replacement surgery. In addition to treating a wide variety of general orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions, his expertise extends to direct anterior approach hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, computer-navigated surgery, revision joint replacement, and fracture management. He has a refined interest in optimized recovery protocols, minimally invasive techniques, outpatient surgery, and the use of modern technology to enhance patient outcomes.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Vatti earned his medical degree through an accelerated BS/MD program at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. Afterwards, he completed additional specialized fellowship training in adult reconstruction/arthroplasty at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, NY.
Having led numerous academic involvements, Dr. Vatti is passionate about the field of orthopaedic surgery. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including The Journal of Arthroplasty, The Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Clinical Orthopaedics and Releated Research, and The Journal of Knee Surgery. His work has been presented at various regional and international conferences and has received research awards. He has been a member of professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society.
