
Biography
Dr. Cody Hightower provides orthopedic care to patients in our Douglasville location. He is a candidate member of both the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His practice includes general orthopedics with a focus and specialty fellowship training in surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. His specific areas of surgical interest are listed below.
Dr. Hightower is a Georgia native who graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in biology and then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina. He then completed an extra year of subspecialty fellowship training at the University of Alabama Birmingham where he worked at the Andrews Sports Medicine Institute.
