Atlanta, GA – August 28, 2025 – OrthoAtlanta, part of Piedmont Orthopedics, proudly announces its continued role as the official orthopedic and sports medicine partner of the 2025 Aflac Kickoff Games. This marks another year in a longstanding partnership that began in 2008, underscoring OrthoAtlanta’s commitment to athlete safety and excellence in sports medicine.
The 2025 Aflac Kickoff Games will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, Aug. 30, Tennessee will take on Syracuse at 12:00 p.m. ET, televised nationally on ABC. The action continues Sunday, Aug. 31, as Virginia Tech faces off against South Carolina at 3:00 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
As the official sports medicine provider, OrthoAtlanta will deliver full-service medical support to the teams, coaches, staff, and game officials. This includes around-the-clock orthopedic care, injury evaluation, and onsite physician coverage throughout the weekend. OrthoAtlanta medical professionals will also travel with the teams, offering support during practices and providing sideline coverage during each game.

The Aflac Kickoff Games are recognized as the nation’s longest-running NCAA FBS neutral-site season openers and have become a major highlight of college football’s opening weekend. These games, organized by Peach Bowl, Inc., consistently showcase marquee matchups between ACC and SEC programs and attract millions of viewers nationwide.
Since taking over as title sponsor in 2023, Aflac has used its platform to raise awareness and support for children facing cancer and blood disorders. Its partnership with Peach Bowl, Inc. continues to elevate charitable efforts tied to the event.
