Sterling Tran, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Tran's practice focuses on hip and knee replacement surgery, including partial and total knee replacement, direct anterior total hip replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, outpatient joint replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and the treatment of general orthopedic fractures and injuries.

A Georgia native, Dr. Tran grew up in Augusta. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia, graduating summa cum laude, before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
