Biography
Dr. Kingsley A. Oladeji is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement. He treats arthritis of the hip and knee, avascular necrosis, hip and knee pain that has not responded to injections or physical therapy, and prior joint replacements that have become painful or have failed.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford Health Care and his fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Since completing his training, he has been in full-time practice and has performed several hundred primary and revision hip and knee replacements.
Before medical school, Dr. Oladeji spent four years as a registered nurse, caring for patients on medical-surgical, stroke, telemetry, and step-down ICU units. That experience continues to shape how he practices. He takes the time to make certain his patients understand their diagnosis, their treatment options, and what to expect at each stage of recovery, and he does not consider surgery the first answer in every case. When nonoperative treatment is the better course, he recommends it.
His surgical practice includes:
- Primary and complex total hip replacement, including the direct anterior approach
- Total and partial knee replacement
- Robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement
- Outpatient, same-day joint replacement
- Revision hip and knee surgery
Dr. Oladeji is trained on all three major robotic platforms — Mako, ROSA, and CORI — and matches the technology to the patient rather than the other way around. Paired with minimally invasive technique and rapid-recovery protocols, the goal is straightforward: return patients to the activities that matter most to them, as quickly and as safely as the biology allows.
