Carson J. Smith, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle care, dedicated to helping patients return to an active, healthy lifestyle through personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. Dr. Smith provides both surgical and non-surgical care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, sprains, arthritis, sports injuries, Achilles tendon disorders, bunions, and deformities of the foot and ankle such as flatfoot. Dr. Smith has a special interest in advanced treatment options such as total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy, and minimally invasive bunion correction (MICA), offering patients modern techniques designed to improve outcomes and recovery.

Originally from Memphis, Dr. Smith developed a passion for medicine at an early age through his fascination with the human body and his desire to help others. His love of sports and biomechanics led him to orthopedic surgery, where he found foot and ankle care especially rewarding because of the complexity, variety, and ability to restore mobility and function.

He is board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also fluent in Spanish, allowing him to better serve a wider range of patients.
