Biography
Roosevelt U. Offoha, M.D., is a gifted spine surgeon whose priority is to ensure his patients attain the best possible outcomes from their treatment. At his practice in Snellville, Georgia, Dr. Offoha welcomes patients from the community who are experiencing spine, back and neck problems and offers a broad range of treatment options for spinal conditions. Dr. Offoha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 2008, after studying music, cell biology and neuroscience. In 2009, he went to the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore to complete his medical degree and followed this with an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois Hospitals in Chicago. After completing his residency, Dr. Offoha embarked on his spine surgery fellowship at New York University's Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City. He became board certified in 2022.
Dr. Offoha manages patients both operatively and nonoperatively. The procedures Dr. Offoha specializes include lumbar microdiscectomy, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), artificial disc replacement, lumbar decompression, decompressive laminectomy and lumbar fusion. Dr. Offoha is passionate about finding the most effective treatments for his patients and relieving them of the burden of back, neck and radiculopathic pain. Community Involvement
When not treating patients, Dr. Offoha enjoys spending time at a coffee shop, in nature or at the gym; he loves listening to music and to standup comedy. Dr. Offoha was an elite powerlifter as well a musician, and his passion is helping his patients regain quality of life and return to the activities they love most.
