Biography
Jeffrey Smith, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon in the subspecialty of foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Smith offers comprehensive treatment of a variety of foot and
ankle conditions including sports injuries, post-traumatic
deformity, congenital deformity, acute fractures, tendinopathy, chronic
degenerative disease, and acquired toe deformity.
Dr. Smith believes, “Communication is essential to a successful medical outcome. It is as important to listen to the patient's concerns and to understand their expectations as it is to educate them about their condition.”

Community Involvement
Dr. Jeffrey Smith takes an active role in providing orthopedic medical care to the Atlanta Gladiators professional hockey team. Dr. Smith provides orthopedic and sports medicine care to Atlanta United 2, the reserve team of the Major League Soccer Team Atlanta United FC, Atlanta's professional soccer team. Dr. Smith has also served as a sideline physician for nationally-recognized sports events including the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, and BB&T Atlanta Open tennis championship.
Dr. Smith currently serves on the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Dr. Smith, his wife, and their two children live in the Johns Creek area. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, softball, fishing, college sports, and traveling. His main hobby is currently chasing after his two small children.
