For new moms in pain, prescribing an opioid wont cause harm to baby. Infants exposed before birth were no more likely to be admitted to a hospital than infants whose moms were not prescribed a narcotic painkiller, research shows. Read more

Fertility meds are no threat to people with MS. Giving patients certain treatments before fertility procedures seemed to help prevent relapses of the neurological illness. Read more

Labor Day Holiday Closures

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, all Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta offices, including physical therapy offices, MRI, and Surgery Centers in Austell and Fayetteville will be CLOSED on Monday, September 1, 2025.
We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 2.
