Risk of heart condition in young who got Moderna vaccine may be higher than thought. Preliminary data from Canada suggests that younger people who get the Moderna COVID vaccine have 2.5 higher odds of a cardiac condition called myocarditis compared to people who got the Pfizer shots. Read more

Acupuncture may help ease chronic pelvic pain in men. About 10% to 15% of U.S. men develop chronic prostatitis and associated pelvic pain, but new research suggests that an ancient medicine -- acupuncture -- might help ease their discomfort. Read more

What about boosters for folks who got the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine? There's been talk of booster shots delivered soon for people who got the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, but new reports suggest that any decision on boosters for recipients of the J&J vaccine is still weeks away.
