Medial Apophysitis (Little Leaguer's Elbow)

Medial Apophysitis, also known as Little League elbow, is an injury to the medial epicondyle growth plate. It causes pain in the elbow, and may cause swelling. This condition is most common in young baseball pitchers.

Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta offices, including physical therapy offices, MRI, and Surgery Centers in Austell and Fayetteville will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025.
We will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 1.
