Fracture of the Talus occurs when the talus, a bone that connects the foot and ankle, develops a fracture from a severe impact or fall. The talus is an important bone of the foot, as it aids in walking on uneven ground and in weight transfer across the ankle joint.
In observance of the New Year holiday, all Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta offices, including physical therapy offices, MRI, and Surgery Centers in Austell and Fayetteville will close at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, and remain closed Thursday, January 1, 2026.
