Auxiliary Aids and Services
OrthoAtlanta does not discriminate against persons with disabilities in the provision of benefits or services on the basis of their disability. As such, it is the policy of OrthoAtlanta to provide necessary auxiliary aids and services for individuals with disabilities at no additional charge.
Once you advise us of your desire for an Auxiliary Aid, we will consult with you to determine the best approach to ensuring effective communication. For deaf or hard of hearing persons, this may include lip reading, note-passing or the provision of a qualified sign-language interpreter Auxiliary aids and services are also available for persons who are blind or who have low vision, have speech Impairments or who have manual impairments.
If you desire an Auxiliary Aid or Service, please advise us at the time of making your appointment or other earliest opportunity so that we may work with you to determine the best means of ensuring effective communication during your patient visit.
