Health Tip: Help Prevent Obesity


(HealthDay News) -- Obesity can develop as a result of poor eating habits, inactivity or genetics.

To help prevent obesity, the URMC suggests:

  • Work to change your family's eating habits and activity levels.
  • Be a role model for healthy eating and physical activity.
  • Limit screen time to less than two hours per day.
  • Keep the pantry stocked with healthier snacks.
