OrthoAtlanta Piedmont West Celebrates Grand Opening

OrthoAtlanta Piedmont West celebrated its recent opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on April 21, 2016. Over 100 attendees from local businesses, the medical community, and sports affiliates joined OrthoAtlanta physicians and staff in welcoming its newest location, conveniently located in the Piedmont West Medical Office Building, at the intersection of I-75 South and Howell Mill Road, in Atlanta Georgia.
The new OrthoAtlanta Piedmont West office complements OrthoAtlanta’s existing office located at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital campus. Both offices serve the orthopaedic and sports medicine needs of patients in the rapidly growing Atlanta communities of greater Buckhead, Atlantic Station, Midtown and West Midtown. The offices serve existing patients and accept new patients with orthopaedic and sports medicine needs ranging from sprains, strains and fractures, workers’ compensation injuries, to the most complex total joint preservation, reconstruction or replacement and both non-surgical and surgical spine needs.
The OrthoAtlanta Piedmont West office is staffed by OrthoAtlanta physicians Richard B. Johnston, M.D., M. Jonathan Mathers, M.D., and Peter J. Symbas, M.D. and supporting medical and physical therapy staff. The OrthoAtlanta Piedmont West office features twelve exam rooms, an Imaging Center with state-of-the-art Siemens MRI imaging equipment, onsite X-ray, a triage room and spacious open-design physical therapy area. Designed with convenience, comfort and access in mind, it provides patients with a single destination for all their orthopaedic and sports medicine needs.
