Douglas B. Kasow, D.O. provides spinal care to patients in our Gwinnett and Johns Creek locations.
A native of Decatur, Georgia, Dr. Kasow attended Emory University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated with honors. While at WVSOM, Dr. Kasow earned the award for academic excellence, graduating first in his class, and was elected to the National Osteopathic Medicine Honors Fraternity. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Georgia and furthered his training with a fellowship in spinal surgery in Denver, Colorado at the Spine Education and Research Institute. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Kasow received advanced training in spinal trauma, under the direction of Dr. Bartolome Marre’, at the Hospital de Trabajador in Santiago, Chile.
Dr. Kasow enjoys educating his patients on their underlying condition and personalizing their care to help patients make an informed decision that meets their needs and goals. He is very active in athletics and enjoys basketball, baseball, running, water skiing, and snowboarding. He is married and has 2 children.
